so, to kick off my new blog here, i thought i'd share a link i found this morning of some fantastic ink blot art! i'm going to try to share one artist a week, since there is so much fantastic art out there!

i think his technique is great, and i love the chic, glamorous style of the end piece. i have often dabbled with ink and washes, and its just so relaxing. i'll have to throw up some new ink pieces of my own soon!

- I really wanted to have a place where I can delve deeper into the meaning behind art, making art, and how it affects society. I have a lot of big ideas and needed a place to get them down. I haven't entirely completed my general artist's statement, rather, it is a work in progress. I am a printmaker, enjoying silkscreen and lithography most of all. I love to draw and sketch, charcoal being my favorite non-wet media.
